Notes: The Illuman Way of Council is a communal contemplative practice that fosters a heart-centered way of listening, speaking and being with others. The practice opens a deeper and more meaningful way of communicating and fosters compassion and empathy for other men’s experiences. Men can speak without being judged or shamed; speak about their emotions and be emotional; forge real and authentic relationships with other men; and share the real challenges of the different roles we have in life: husband/partner, father, grandfather, brother, provider, businessman, mentor, and apprentice. All men on a spiritual journey are welcome!
